2017 Staheli West DewPoint 6210 Hay Steamer. The DewPoint 6210 generates steam using a diesel-fired burner and a low-pressure boiler system. Steam is a very effective moisture medium for controlled hydration of the hay during the baling process. One gallon of water will produce approximately 1700 gallons of steam at sea level, which allows every leaf and stem in the crop to be treated without becoming too wet. Hay producers using steam can bale hay any time of the day or night without the need for natural dew.
